This policy explains what personal data www.wessamzidan.com collects, why we use it, who receives it, and the choices and rights you have. We keep it short and plain.
Who is responsible
The website is run by Wessam Zidan and AlRawaabit Marketing Solutions, 17 Abd El-Gelil St, Ibn Sender Sq., 11th floor, Zeytoun, Cairo, Egypt. For any privacy question or request, email zidanwessam@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
- Forms (for example the importer checklist): your email, company, target market and language. We use them to send what you asked for, a short series of follow-up emails, and to follow up your enquiry. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Booking a call (Cal.com): your name, email and any notes you add, so we can hold the meeting and prepare for it.
- WhatsApp and email: when you contact us, we receive what you send.
- Chat assistant: your messages are sent through AlRawaabit's AI gateway to an AI model to generate an answer. The website does not keep chat transcripts. Please do not share sensitive information in the chat.
- Website analytics and advertising: Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and HeronSignal record pages visited and actions such as clicks on WhatsApp or booking buttons, with device, browser and approximate location. We use this to understand which pages help visitors and to measure and show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram.
- Hosting: our host Vercel processes technical data such as IP address and browser to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
Cookies and similar technologies
- Language (NEXT_LOCALE): remembers Arabic or English.
- Country (wz_geo, 24 hours): the country code only, used to decide whether to ask for your consent.
- Your choice (wz_consent): stored in your browser when you accept or reject.
- Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*), Meta Pixel (_fbp) and HeronSignal: measurement and advertising.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, analytics and advertising tools run only after you click "Accept", and you can change your choice any time from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Elsewhere they run by default; you can block them in your browser settings or with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on and Facebook's ad preferences.
Who receives your data
We use service providers to run the website and our work: Vercel (hosting), Google (Analytics), Meta (Pixel and WhatsApp), Brevo (email), Cal.com (booking), HeronSignal (website analytics), and our own n8n automation and ERPNext CRM on a server we rent from Hetzner. They process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States. We choose established providers that offer contractual protections for such transfers.
How long we keep data
- Google Analytics data: 14 months.
- Email list: until you unsubscribe.
- Enquiries and bookings in our CRM: for as long as needed for our business relationship, or until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to its use, or withdraw your consent at any time (use "Cookie settings" or the unsubscribe link in our emails). Email zidanwessam@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK or Switzerland you can also complain to your data protection authority; in Egypt, to the Personal Data Protection Center.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not intended for children under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
